Dave Chappelle attacked at Hollywood Bowl!

The Scoop: Dave Chapelle,48 a stand-up comedian, was attacked on May 4, 2022, while on stage at the Hollywood bowl. Isaiah Lee,23, a rapper has been arrested for the attack. Lee is currently under investigation for suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon. His's bail was set at $30,000 as of Thursday, May 5, 2022. The Hollywood Bowl is owned by the Los Angeles County Department of Parks and Recreation and the Los Angeles Philharmonic Association. Sophie Jefferies, the philharmonic's director of public relations, said in a statement Wednesday to LATimes, "The incident... remains an active investigation, and we are unable to comment further at this time."

LAPD discovered a knife when they confiscated his bag. Authorities are unsure how he managed to get a knife through Security. It is not known yet if this attack was premeditated. However, Lee did release a song in 2020 titled "Dave Chapelle"
